The pantry is for students and their families whose food budgets are smaller than usual. The KSS pantry offers students an option to come and pick out some non-perishable groceries for free, no questions asked.
Students can drop by the Success Room (where the pantry is located) at any time during school hours and a staff member can show them what to do.
If your family is in a position to donate, we would greatly appreciate any non-perishable donations. Items such as hygiene products, detergent, and monetary donations or grocery store gift cards are also appreciated.
Donations can be brought to a labeled bin just outside the 'Success Room' or given to a staff member working in the room.
Donations such as these are welcome (this list is not complete):
*Toilet paper
*Tissues
*Paper towel
*Unscented baby/skin wipes
*Pasta and Noodles
*Peanut butter
*Hygiene products, such as soap, razors, toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, conditioner, and pads
*Cereal
*Canned meat
*Powdered mashed potatoes
*Dried fruit
*Rice
*Tea, coffee, hot chocolate powder, boxed fruit juices
*Honey, sugar, salt, condiments
*Crackers
*Laundry detergent and dryer sheets
*Olive oil/vegetable oil
*Pancake mix
*Oatmeal
*Shelf stable milk
Monetary donations or grocery gift cards should be brought to the office, labeled "For the KSS pantry".
