School Events

  • Friendly reminder that the library is a food free zone, even at lunch! Please eat your lunch first  if you want to use the library during the lunch hour, thank you!

  • Hey grade 9s and 10s who attended leadership conference last month! Your leaders are super excited to see you THIS thursday december 7th in the library for a reunion! Come recap on your leadership camp experiences, solidify our action plans, and reunite with your groups! Lunch will be provided, see you there! 

  • Hey grade nines! Your link leaders are planning a cookie decorating and karaoke night for you all on Monday December 11th from 3:30-5:30! stay tuned for more details!

  • Hey bears, get super excited for the annual KSS winter holiday send off! This year's event, hosted in the main gym on the last day before holidays, includes a talent show, minute to win it challenges and an opportunity to do some karaoke or participate in a lip sync battle with your friends! sign up using the QR code on posters around the school or using the link in our instagrams linktree

  • Do you want to save someone’s life this Christmas? Are you 17 years of age or older? Join the KSS Blood Club to donate blood and help save someone’s life. There will be an info meeting on Wednesday at lunch in the library. Hope to see you there, superheroes!

  • KSS Coffee house is this week and we have a full line up of amazing performers. Don’t miss our winter coffee house happening in the drama room this Thursday December 7th at 6 pm. Tickets are 5 dollars at the door! Come out and support your musicians!

  • Political Theory club runs today at lunch in the Library.  Come discuss the ideas behind the headlines.  New members welcome!

 

Athletics

  • Bears!! Get excited for our girls volleyball home games happening tonight against Regi! Juniors play at 4 and Seniors at 5:30! Come out and show your support! Take pictures, tag us @kss.athletics and use the #BEARWitness! Roll Bears! 
  • Good luck to our junior and senior boys basketball teams as they take on Regi in away games tonight. Juniors play at 4 and seniors at 5:30! Once again Roll Bears!

Athletics

  • Congratulations to the junior boys' basketball team on winning their season opener against Regi. The boys racked up 65 points and held Regi to only 30. A special shout-out goes to Eli Clowater for hitting six three-pointers and Sacha Wheeler-Dee for being a defensive machine. Way to go boys!
  • A reminder to the Novice Girls volleyball team of our practice today at lunch in the gym. Hustle to get ready and get the nets up by 11:10.
  • And a reminder to all Athletic Council general members there will be a meeting today in Mr. Compeaus at lunch.
