The Limestone District School Board is situated on the traditional territories of the Anishnaabe and Haudenosaunee. We acknowledge their enduring presence on this land, as well as the presence of Metis, Inuit, and other First Nations from across Turtle Island. We honour their cultures and celebrate their commitment to this land.

With classes ending and exams beginning, it is a wonderful opportunity to reflect on a semester and year where so many wonderful things have taken place for our KSS/Vanier students. With our Grade 8 and Grade 12 graduation ceremonies on the horizon, we can look back on a year where we have celebrated achievements and student engagement in all subject areas, through a variety of clubs and activities, and through continued opportunities in athletics. Our recent Arts and Athletics Banquets are a testament to so many amazing efforts of our student body. Highlights for me personally included the Relay for Life, where our students raised over $35 000, and our two Spring Dances, where our students were able to come together socially and enjoy evenings of fun and laughter.
As we begin to close out this school year, we continue our active preparation for the 2024/25 school year. We continue to staff for next year and are at work to create a timetable that will serve our student needs and requests.
It has been a pleasure to work with Parent Council this year in service of our school population and in providing opportunities for our parent community to be connected to what is happening in school for their children.
