Join LDSB’s Community Equity Advisory Committee (CEAC)

The Limestone District School Board has set up the Community Equity Advisory Committee (CEAC) to help identify and remove barriers to creating a fair and inclusive environment for everyone—students, staff, and the community. This committee also helps put the Board’s Equity and Action Plan into action.

We are looking for community members from the LDSB to join the committee. Here are some details:

• Meetings: Members should attend at least 3 out of the 4 quarterly meetings in person. Meetings are held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Education Centre.
• Eligibility: Members should have a connection to the Board, such as being a current or former parent, staff member, or someone who works for an organization that serves Limestone students.
• Diverse Perspectives: In your application, please share how you can bring diverse perspectives and experiences, including, but not limited to Anti-Black Racism, Anti-Indigenous Racism, Antisemitism, Ableism/Disabilities, Homophobia, Transphobia, Islamophobia, and/or Poverty/Classism.
• Term: The term for committee members is 2 years.
