• Are you ready to challenge your mind and explore the big ideas shaping our world? Join Critical Theory, our lunch-time political discussion club! Dive deep into current events, debate controversial issues, and develop your critical thinking skills in a supportive environment. Whether you're passionate about social justice, global phenomena, or just love a good debate, Critical Theory is the place for you. Meetings are in room 301. That's Mondays in room 301—come ready to think, discuss, and make a difference!
• Hey bears, mark November 28th as the day of the semi formal, the only dance of the year!, The theme is... A Night of Fortune! Tickets will start selling today during lunch in the atrium, get them fast before they sell out!!  

Athletics:

• Junior girls volleyball tryouts begin on Monday, November 10th from 4:30-6:00 in the Vanier Gym. Sign up using the QR code on the posters around school. Please see Mr. Rowden or Ms. Brouillard if you have any questions.

There are lots of oppurtunities and positions available.  Applications are due Tuesday Dec 9th. 

• The KSS Holiday Bazaar is coming up this Saturday! There will be over 70 vendors, a silent auction, a raffle, our KSS Cafe and much more. Hope to see you there!

• Do you want a week full of fun, food and culture? Well you’re in luck! Affinity’s culture week kicks off next week! Monday- Paint your own flag, and celebrate our school’s diversity. Tuesday- Buy Jamaican patties and samosas at lunch! Wednesday- don’t miss our tasty bakesale. Thursday- Wear your cultural clothing! And explore cultural booths! Friday- end the week with a classic bollywood movie, we’ll be having free henna and snacks.  Come join the fun and celebrate culture with us all week!

• Hello grade 9s! Don’t you want a little spice to add to your high school experience? WE KNOW YOU DO! Your very best link leaders will be hosting a cookie decorating and a game show event next week on Friday November the 21st, so make sure that you and all your friends come down to the atrium during lunch to have some fun. We can’t wait to see you all!

• Reminder to ALL LINK LEADERS! Please wear your pink shirt on November 21st!

Haven’t bought your ticket yet? Well what are you waiting for? We have awesome food, a DJ, 20 guest tickets, all for just 15 dollars. BUY YOU’RE TICKET QUICK, THEY’RE SELLING OUT FAST.
