School Events:

• All Self-Identifying Indigenous students are invited to a post-secondary information panel on TODAY!! during Period B in the Library.  Breakfast will be provided. Please see Ms. Rose in Student Services for more information. 
• Are you a resident of the former Pittsburgh Township Area? You are eligible for the Pittsburgh Community Benefit Fund Scholarship Award!  Check the Grade 12 Update or see Ms. Rose for more details.  Applications close April 30th. 
• Hey bears! Are you someone who loves to see talent in the KSS community? Is yes, this is a great opportunity to come see battle of the bands!! Multiple bands in the KSS community will be competing against one another for  a prize! Come to see these amazing musicians perform, and even vote on who you think the winner should be! The event will be held May 6th, 6-8pm, we will be selling tickets for five dollars at the door. Be sure to come! 
• If you are interested in a meaningful role here at KSS enriching a positive school culture then please consider submitting an application to be a LINK leader next year! Any students going into grade 11 or 12 are eligible to apply and we are hoping for a wide range of interesting students to welcome our next cohort of grade 9 students. Please submit your application by this Friday May 1st to the main office!!

• Hey Bears! Would you like a low pressure environment to chat, plan and recognize cultural events, and eat? Come join Affinity Club in the Library conference room tomorrow at lunch.  
• Interact Club is today in Room 157 at 11:20. Everyone is welcome, see you there!
