To begin, let us acknowledge that KSS is situated on traditional Anishinaabe (Ah- nish-in-ah-bay) and Haudenosaunee (Ho-den-o-show-nee) territory. We are grateful to be able to live and learn on these lands.

School Events:

  • Special Olympics Fundraiser BBQ!  Come on out to the main atrium at lunch on Tuesday June 9 to support the Special Olympics at KSS.  Hot dogs, chips, and pop will be for sale.  Veggie and Halal dogs too!  See you there.

Clubs: 

  • Hey Bears! Would to support KSS’s Affinity Club? Come purchase a Jamaican patty and Samosa tomorrow at lunch in the atrium!!

 

  • Interact Club is today in Room 157 at 11:20. Everyone is welcome, see you there!
    • Interact Final Celebration on June 1st!
    • Join us in Room 157 at 11:20 as we celebrate everything Interact has accomplished this year and learn about leadership roles for next year!
    • Come celebrate, get involved, and enjoy free lunch!

Athletics:

  • Attention Bears! What an incredible showing from our track and field team! An outstanding 32 out of 47 athletes have punched their ticket to the final round of OFSAA!
    • KSS will be represented by 19 individual athletes competing in 29 events, along with 5 relay teams ready to take on the province. This marks the largest team KSS has ever sent to OFSAA Track and Field — a truly amazing feat!
    • Good luck to all our athletes as you compete against the best in Ontario. We are proud of your hard work, dedication, and determination. Let’s go Bears!

  • This Friday June 5th we encourage all students to wear purple or orange to stand in support of ending violence against women and raising awareness for the important work of Kingston Interval House.
