• The KSS Winter Sendoff is THIS Friday the 19th: half of Period C, and all of Period D. It’ll be an exciting day of performances from clubs, students, and staff. GET HYPED BEARS.

• Hey General Council Members! There is a meeting today at lunch to talk about the Winter Send Off. See you there!

• Are you ready to challenge your mind and explore the big ideas shaping our world? Join Critical Theory, our lunch-time political discussion club! Dive deep into current events, debate controversial issues, and develop your critical thinking skills in a supportive environment. Whether you're passionate about social justice, global phenomena, or just love a good debate, Critical Theory is the place for you. Meetings are in room 301. That's Mondays in room 301—come ready to think, discuss, and make a difference!

• Want to make a winter themed craft? Then come down to room 322 at lunch this Wednesday to decorate your own mini Christmas tree and other winter crafts with the Wellness club. Perfect for gift giving and decoration! Again, room 322 this Wednesday

• Hello KSS! Tutoring Club is going to have fun activities planned for Tuesday after school to celebrate all of our hard work before the break! This event is open for EVERYONE, come ice some cookies, play games with prizes, make paper snowflakes, and enjoy your time before the winter break. See you there after school in the library!

• Grade 9s and 10S, listen up! If you play an instrument or are interested in playing an instrument, come to the music room tomorrow at lunch for junior band!

• Want to make a winter themed craft? Then come down to room 322 at lunch this Wednesday to decorate your own mini Christmas tree and other winter crafts with the Wellness club. Perfect for gift giving and decoration! Again, room 322 this Wednesday.
• Lights, camera, lunch! Join the Drama & Film Club in Room 124 on Tuesday's — everyone’s welcome!

• Science club is presenting its team challenge activity before the break, come and engage in a series of general science knowledge to see who truly is the W team. The meeting is this Wednesday in room 225!

• Are you interested in singing? Come to the music room after school today to sing with the KSS singing club! We would love to have you! 
• Do you play a string instrument? If yes, come play with the KSS string ensemble at lunch in the music room today! For more information about music at KSS go see Mrs Caravan or join us Fridays at lunch for Music Council, where we discuss and plan fundraisers, events, clubs  and much more! 
• Today at lunch the GSA is running in room 322. Always open to new members!

Friday, December 19th

School Events:

• Get READY for the one and only KSS Winter Sendoff during half of Period C, and all of Period D today!!!
• • Today’s spirit week challenge is Jersey day; to support our very own KSS teams in the faceoff, tomorrow will be Pajama day, so dress cozy bears!

Clubs: 

• Music council is at lunch in the music room today! Come join us to help plan music related events, clubs, fundraisers and more!

Athletics:

• Get ready for the only and only Division St. Face off between Regi!
• The girls game will start at 11:15
• And the boys game will start at 12:30
• If you brought a non-perishable food item, bring it to room 156 for the food bank!
