- The boys curling team consisting of Saki Braun, Zan Ladinik, Koen Blasko and Will Saunders travelled to the great white north of Thunder Bay to compete with 19 other teams of OFSAA curling last week.
We won 2 of our 4 games just missing a spot in the quarter finals. We are thankful for our community coach without whom this trip wouldn’t have been possible. We were proud to represent KSS at the provincial championships and as their coach I was very proud of their hard work and sportsmanship all season.

- Today, at sundown, is the start of the observance of Passover. Around the world, Jews retell the story of Exodus during a symbolic command meal. The observance retells how Jews in ancient times gained freedom from slavery in Egypt and ultimately returned to the holy land. Feel free to say to your Jewish friends “Happy Passover”, because everyone loves freedom.
