EQAO Literacy Field-Test (OSSLT)

EQAO Literacy Field-Test (OSSLT)
Posted on 02/23/2021

Grade 10 & 11 (and non graduating 12) students will take part in a field-test of the new online and adaptive EQAO Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test (OSSLT). The purpose of this field test is to allow students and educators to become familiar with the new model, and to support the validation and development of the new platform. This new platform will allow the opportunity for students to attempt the test and, if successful, have it counted on their transcript.

At KSS, grade 10 students will write the test the week of March 29-31, 2021. Grade 11 and non-graduating grade 12s will write the test the week of March 23-25, 2021. A make-up test date is scheduled for April 28, 2021.

KSS Students who are in the Virtual School will be writing the test the week of April 21-27.  More specific information about the date, time and location for virtual writers will come soon.

Please see the OSSLT Letter sent home February 23rd for full details.
