Hi everyone,
This Friday, September 22nd, we will be participating in the 2023 Terry Fox Run that is being organized by our Athletics Council executive with the support of a handful of different groups and people in the building. Thank you to those who are helping in the planning of this event and to everyone for their support of the initiatives we will be running this week, including the event itself on Friday.
Here are some details for your review:
- The event will be taking place during Period C for KSS students/teachers and Vanier will have their event during Period A. Grade 9 and 10 classes will be called out to the track at 12:05pm after attendance has been taken and will finish at 12:30pm while Grade 11 and 12 classes will be called out at 12:40pm and finish at 1:05pm
- We will NOT be having a community run this year so all students are asked to join us within the confines of the track area. Our executive will be facilitating all of the festivities and the students in the Radio Program will be playing music.
- Athletics Council Executive will be dropping off a donations envelope tomorrow (Monday) morning. Please remind students, if they are able, to bring in a "Toonie for Terry" or "Fiver for Fox" to help contribute to our school's fundraising efforts. The class who raises the most funds will be treated to a pizza party
